La Vista Rating Tool newly renamed Windows Experience Index, determines how well your computer is running Windows Vista and other software evaluated. Microsoft is hoping that the software will be standardized rating scale and applying the values to their products, enabling consumers to decide whether a piece of software on your system .

Click Start at the bottom corner of the screen. Click Control Panel, open "System and Maintenance, and then click on" tools of information and performance ."

Click "Score this computer" if you've never used the rating tool. Click on "Update my score" if you already have a score, but have made changes to your system or if a new version of the tool has been released .

Wait for Vista as the test ends. Do not use your computer or have other programs running during the test. Any activity on the machine other than the trial could alter the results .

Read individual team results. His overall score is equal to the lesser of their results. A low rating (1 to 2) indicates that Windows Vista defaults to lower values, while a higher score (4 to 5) shows that most or all of the functions activated .

Consider improving one or more parts of your computer if you have one or two areas with low scores, while the rest are middle to high. The update can improve your overall performance of the team.
